Description: Annual or biennial herb mostly 20–40 cm high, stem glabrous or with scattered hairs.
Leaves ciliate with short hairs; basal leaves to 9 cm long, pinnatisect, lobes linear; stem leaves reducing to linear and entire.
Inflorescence an elongating raceme. Sepals 0.5–1 mm long. Petals reduced or absent. Stamens usually 2. Silicula elliptic, c. 3 mm long, 2 mm wide, wings slight in upper half forming slight narrow notch; pedicel 4–6 mm long, ± flattened, spreading, finely hairy above.
Distribution and occurrence: Not common.
